Stonehaven has many places to eat out wheter it be for a sit down meal, snack or takeaway. Most are within a short walk from Auld Toon Apartment. The eateries on the harbour are only a minute or two away and we highly recommend them as we use them on a very regular basis.

Belvedere Hotel - The restaurant offers a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The Belvedere is open to local diners, visitors and hotel residents and their guests. The lounge bar shares the same menu. Where possible the chefs source local produce and daily specials are always available.
Carron to Mumbai - Outstanding Indian cuisine in a unique Art Deco setting. All fish, meat, poultry, herbs and vegetables are sourced locally. The menu is a mix of traditional and contemporary, with most main dishes available with a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian.
Gino's Italian Restaurant - Long established family run restaurant offering a tasty range of Italian dishes and pizza.
Kirktown Garden Centre Restaurant - Stonehaven's local garden centre & restaurant. If it's gardening, good food, good living or some time out you're after, this is a great place to go. A relaxing and enjoyable destination for shopping and dining.
Marine Hotel Restaurant & Bar - Bar, lounge and restaurant with stunning views over Stonehavn harbour. Restaurant uses excellent local produce and the bar has a great range of of quality whiskies and fine beers, some of which are from the hotels own brewery Six°North. Great outdoor seating area also. On our doorstep.
Molly's Cafe Bar - Award winning seaside restaurant. Great food, friendly staff and a wonderful location and atmosphere await your arrival. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners served.
No 44 Restaurant & Bar - Offers great British pub fayre. Not just traditional pub grub but also a range of speciality dishes.
Old Pier Coffee House - Coffee shop next to Stonehaven harbour, fabulous coffee, signature croques and daily specials. Less than a minutes walk from our apartment.
Royal China Restaurant - A long established family run restaurant serving Thai and Chinese Cuisine. Regular buffet nights. Very friendly service.
The Ship Inn - Captain's Table Restaurant - Has an excelletn reputation as a quality dining venue, offering locally-sourced produced cooked to perfection. Seafood is their speciality, whether you want traditional fish and chips or something a little more contempoary. Their Cullen Skink is not to be missed! This is one of the oldest inns on the Aberdeenshire coast with a great selection of beverages. Lovely to sit outside when the sun is shining. Very close by.

Station Hotel - Located at the top of the town close to the railway station. Light bites and drinks can be ordered at the bar, or for a fantastic meal you can book a table in the Station Hotel’s restaurant. Everything at the hotel is cooked fresh to order and seasonal produce is used whenever possible.

Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant - Located on the northern harbour wall and enjoying stunning views across the harbour, sits one of Scotland’s best seafood restaurants. The 16th century Tolbooth is one of the most historic buildings in the town and sucessfully blends the rustic charm of whitewashed stonewalls with unpretentious décor and a colour scheme planned to give a distinct maritime feel. The View Restaurant - Overlooking one of the most dramatic and scenic golf courses in Aberdeenshire. The restaurant is situated within the clubhouse of Stonehaven Golf Club. The perfect place to enjoy a range of tasty, homemade dishes.
